1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and any related activities provided by E.G.J.A Electrical Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you should refrain from using our services.
2. Scope of Services
We provide electrical installation, repair, maintenance, testing, inspection, and associated services as agreed in writing with each client. All work is carried out in compliance with UK electrical safety standards and regulations.
3. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Pricing is based on the scope of work agreed and may be subject to change if additional work or unforeseen circumstances arise. Any variation in price will be communicated and agreed before proceeding.
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within 14 days of the date issued, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure access to the work area at the agreed times and provide a safe environment for our engineers. Any necessary permissions or approvals (e.g., from landlords, building control) must be obtained by the client prior to work commencing.
6. Warranties & Liability
We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from completion, subject to proper use and maintenance of installed systems. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses. We accept no responsibility for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as supplier shortages or adverse weather.
7. Cancellation Policy
Work may be cancelled by the client with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee to cover costs incurred.
8. Website Use
All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the intellectual property of E.G.J.A Electrical Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Information is only used for the purpose of delivering our services, maintaining records, and complying with legal obligations. We do not share personal data with third parties without consent unless required by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
